Eknon Tech OÜ doing business as (“Eknons.com”, “The Site”, “The Marketplace “We”, “Us”, or “Our” ) operates an online website https://www.Eknons.com/as well as other media form, mobile website, mobile application, registered in Estonia as EKNON TECH OÜ registration number 14373354  in which provides online marketplace for digital goods, products and services referred to in this Policy as (“Service”, “Services”) to natural or legal persons who generally utilize, access, visit, view or navigating the Site- referred to in this Policy (as “you”, The “User”, “Users”,  “Your”) – either they are private individuals, associations and companies who submits an order, utilize the services,  or describe assignments they wish to have performed and/or  buy, rent, exchange services or products, referred in this policy as  ( “Consumer” ) or they are individuals, associations and companies which provide offers sell and promote a service or a product and with whom the Consumer concludes a contract for the provision of Service referred in this policy as ( “Service Provider”, “Provider” ) – is committed to respect the privacy of your personal information when you visit https://www.eknons.com and/or eknons.com mobile software application (collectively, the “Site”) and use the services available thereon (the “Services”).

By visiting the Sites and related applications, whether on a computer, phone, tablet, or similar device (these are all referred to as a “Device”), you are accepting the practices described below. As a Service Site that offer services from a number of countries and territories where the laws and customs differ. This Policy provides a general overview of our privacy practices.

When you use our Services by “clicking-through” from a third-party site or when you visit third-party sites via our Services, those third-party sites may share information with us about your use of their service.   • Name, user name, password, company name, address, email address, and telephone number, address, date of birth, password, gender, post code, city, county and municipality, country of residence, nationality, preferences, user identity, travel documents and image.

  • If you register as Service Provider, we will collect information about you and your company, including identification information of the company contact persons, information regarding your business licenses, information regarding your data management platform,  organization number, which coincides with personal identification number for individual companies, company signatory and information necessary to process payments.
  • Information we collect when we ask you to authenticate yourself if we believe you are violating site policies (for example, we may ask you to send us an ID to answer additional questions online to help verify your identity);
  • If you wish to interact through our Services to plan or book a service related to life-improvement, our Services may allow or require you to submit information about others, including the names, email address, birthdates, and other information about your companions. By providing us with any of this information about another person, you are representing to us that you have obtained that person’s consent to giving us that information so that we can use it in accordance with this Policy.
  • For an activity planning purposes & bookings, or if you use any of Providers’ Services, your information may be collected by or through one of the third-party service providers.

The specific information collected will depend on the nature of your participation and submission, but may include information such as your name, image, likeness, and voice. Aggregated Data

Sharing Personal Information

In order to provide our Services, we may need to share information with Services Providers and third parties for a business purpose. Also, we may share information with Services Providers who perform one or more services on Eknons.com, Payment Aggregators such as Stripe and Paypal who will utilize your credit card and other payment information in accordance with their respective privacy policies, and we might also share information with Eknons.com related, subsidiary, affiliate companies,  other contractors who handle our data management and newsletter and email distribution, and who assist us with, co-sponsor, or otherwise participate in any surveys, contests, events, and promotions. We provide these service providers only with the information they need to perform their services, and work with them to respect and protect your privacy.

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Site-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, payment processing, fraud detection and improvement of the Site’s features) or to assist us in analyzing how The Site and Service are used. These third parties have access to your Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

If you choose to use the Service as a Provider, you will be able to create a profile, which will be publicly viewable via the Service. Such profile may include information including, but not limited to, profile picture, name, location, information on jobs previously performed via the Service and outside the Service, skills, tests taken, hourly pay rates and feedback/rating information. You may edit your Contractor profile via your account.

When you submit a request or communicate with Service Providers through the Site, we will provide information to the service provider who will need to use that information to complete the service. This sharing is generally pursuant to agreements which include confidentiality, privacy and security obligations; however, note that we do not control the privacy practices of these third-party business partners.

If you choose to post a job, task or request, the contents of such listing will be viewable including information such as budget, location, history of listings by the user, the names of Services Providers, feedback, rating and timing.

When you use our Services and chose to share information with third-party social media sites, the information you share will be governed by the privacy policies of those social media sites and the privacy settings you have set with those social media Sites.

Log Files

Eknons.com follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit the Site whether as a registered user or a non-registered user. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, possibly the number of clicks, browser software version or the webpage you were visiting before you came to The Site, pages of The Site that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on The Site, and other statistics. In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyze this type of information in order to increase The Site’s functionality and user-friendliness, to better tailor it to our visitors’ needs, and to detect suspicious activity. We may also use a third party service or any similar service that will enable us to gather details of how you use The Site’s functionality. These third party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information. We do not treat Log Data as Personal Information, but we may use it in association with Personal Information, and we may aggregate, analyze and evaluate such Log Data for the same purposes as stated above regarding other Non-Identifying Information. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other Site, Eknons.com uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to collect and store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the Site that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to save your registration ID and login password for future logins to the Site and to track your compliance with our policies and to optimize your experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Advertising Partners Privacy Policies

You may find the Policy for each of the advertising partners of eknons.com. Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on eknons.com, which are sent directly to users’ browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on Sites that you visit. Note that eknons.com has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Third Party Privacy Policies

Eknons.com contains links to other Sites. If you choose to click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s Site. The fact that we link to a Site is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. Eknons.com’s Policy does not apply to other advertisers or Sites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, among other rights, California users have the right to request that a business that collects a user’s personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about users. Request that a business delete any personal data about the user that a business has collected. Request that a business that sells a user’s personal data, not sell the user’s personal data.

If you make a request, we may need to verify your identity to enable us to process your request. We have one month to respond to you after proper verification, unless we need additional time, in which case we will let you know. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us. 

As described in more detail in our Policy, there are some reasons we will not be able to fully address your deletion request, such as if we need to complete a transaction for you or you have active services, customers or pending issues, we need to detect and protect against fraudulent and illegal activity, to exercise our rights, or to comply with a legal obligation.

We retain your personal data for services purpose as long as you have an active account with us or as necessary in connection with the purposes set out in this Policy, unless applicable law requires a longer retention period. In addition, we may retain your information for the duration of any period necessary to establish, exercise or defend any legal rights. When the account is deleted or when the account has been inactive for 36 months, we delete your personal data and only keep the anonymized version of your requests, reviews. Facebook and Instagram keep your data for 3 months after you submit the form. As long as we have reason to believe that the information is company information, we save it in our prospect database. If we become aware that a company has been wound up and information is therefore to be regarded as personal data, we delete it immediately.

Changes and Notification

We may update this policy in the future. If we believe any changes are material, we will let you know by doing one or more of the following: sending you a communication about the changes, placing a notice on the web and/or posting an updated Policy on the Site. We will note at the top of this Policy when it was most recently updated.
